Update Google Chrome for a Mac

   Open your Google Chrome browser. If an update is available for you, you will see a little green arrow at the top of the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar. The Chrome menu is the little box made of lines that appears to the right of the search bar at the top of the page.
   
   
   
   • If you don't see the arrow, then you already have the most current version of Google Chrome.
   • If you do see the arrow, move to the next step.

   Click the Chrome menu.

   Select "Update Google Chrome." It's the second option from the bottom of the drop-down menu. You will be asked to confirm that you want to update your version of Google Chrome.

   Click "Restart." If you don't want to restart right away, then click "Not now." The next time you restart your browser, you'll be able to open the updated version of Google Chrome.
